Benefit Consuming Vegetable

Hello everyone, firstly let me introduce my self. My name is Winda Adelia, I’m 17 years old, I’ from SMAN 1 Purwosari. In here, I’ll be give you some information about “The Benefit Consuming Vegetable.”



During this covid-19 pandemic, maintaining health is very important, one of the ways we can increase our immunity and physical health, we can consume vegetables. Where we know that vegetables contain lots of vitamins, proteins which are very good for the health of the body. The benefits we get from consuming vegetables are as follows:
1.      Prevent and reduce excessive stress
               Coping with stress can be done by eating vegetables with sufficient magnesium content. Magnesium helps promote relaxation by maintaining healthy levels of GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that relaxes the body and mind.
2.       Facilitate defecation
               The fiber contained in green vegetables can increase the volume and soften the stool, so that the stool is easier to expel from the intestine
3.       Prevent heart disease and cancer
               Vegetables can reduce the risk of cancer prove, certain vegetables contain compounds that are powerful against cancer.
4.      Maintain a balanced body weight
               This is because of the high fiber content in both types of food. Fiber consumption is believed to help in weight loss.
5.      Source of body energy
               Because there are vitamins that can support energy sources for the body.
6.      Maintain eye health
               Because it has vitamin A which is very good for maintaining eye health.
7.      Make skin healthy
               Because nothing contains cholesterol. Vegetables also contain a wide variety of nutrients, including potassium, fiber, folate, vitamin A, and vitamin C. Eating potassium-rich vegetables can maintain healthy blood pressure.
8.      Strengthens bones
               Green vegetables contain lots of vitamin C which is useful in producing bone-forming cells. In addition to vitamin C, green vegetables also contain vitamin K which belongs to the category of vitamin B complex. In addition to playing a role in the blood clotting process, vitamin B complex can also improve bone health.
 
From the above statement that there are many benefits for us in consuming this vegetable. hopefully we can apply it so that our bodies feel healthy because of consuming these vegetables.
